Dr. Eric C. Weiss, DMD

Dental Solutions of Chambersburg was opened for business on July 10, 2006 by Eric C. Weiss, DMD. A Pittsburgh native, Dr. Weiss received his Bachelor’s of Science in biology from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and went on to get his Doctorate at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

After graduate school, Dr. Weiss relocated to the island of Guam located in Micronesia. There he worked perfecting his skills providing dental care as a civilian contractor for the U.S. Military and local government. After working and traveling through the Pacific rim for two and a half years, Dr. Weiss returned to the United States.

In 2001, he was recruited by the National Health Service Corps to treat the underserved population in south central Pennsylvania. After four years of service to the NHSC and more than ten years of experience in all phases of patient care, Dr. Weiss opened Dental Solutions of Chambersburg.

Dr. Weiss is an Eagle Scout, an avid sportsman and an outdoors man. He is an expert scuba diver and is certified as an instructor, rescue diver, equipment specialist, extended range diver, underwater photographer and videographer, along with being a cavern and shipwreck specialist. To date, he has logged nearly 1,000 dives in more than 20 countries around the world. Traveling and exploring new cultures are two of his favorite diversions.

Dr. Jennifer Zhou

Dr. Jennifer earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Michigan. Pennsylvania holds a special place in her heart, as it’s where she met her husband and spent many cherished years in Pittsburgh. She relocated to Chambersburg, PA, because her husband works as an army dentist at the U.S. Army Carlisle Barracks.

Having overcome her own dental fear as a child, Dr. Jennifer strives to offer enjoyable dental experiences to help people reduce stress in the dental chair. She believes that a good dental appointment can brighten someone’s day and enjoys all aspects of dentistry, caring for her patients in a gentle manner. She is constantly striving to learn new and advanced dental techniques and technologies and stay up to date in the ever-evolving field of dentistry.

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Jennifer is passionate about research and teaching in academic dentistry. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy Degree from the University of Pittsburgh, where her research focused on addressing oral health disparities in Appalachia. Her work has been recognized at international dental conferences, and she was honored with the American Associations for Dental Research (AADR) Local Pittsburgh Chapter Award in 2018.

Dr. Jennifer is fluent in both English and Mandarin. Outside of her practice, she loves spending time with her husband hiking in nature and cooking delicious Szechuan cuisine for him. They also enjoy exploring the Amish country and petting the animals there.

Elizabeth Weiss – Patient Care Coordinator

Elizabeth was born and raised in Boquete (known as the Valley of Flowers), Panama, Liz has a rich family heritage in Panamanian culture. She brings to the practice the Spanish speaking language (Bilingual). Liz is our practice Senior Clinical Assistant and Patient Care Coordinator. She is certified and state qualified and has extensive training and experience in many aspects of dental procedures. What Liz brings to our practice is the very important element of personalized care, communication, and attention to all of our patients. In her spare time, Liz enjoys cooking her favorite recipes, playing with her dog Nico and spending time with her family.
