Meet the Dental Solutions Team

Dr. Eric C. Weiss, DMD

Dental Solutions of Chambersburg was opened for business on July 10, 2006 by Eric C. Weiss, DMD. A Pittsburgh native, Dr. Weiss received his Bachelor’s of Science in biology from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio and went on to get his Doctorate at Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

After graduate school, Dr. Weiss relocated to the island of Guam located in Micronesia. There he worked perfecting his skills providing dental care as a civilian contractor for the U.S. Military and local government. After working and traveling through the Pacific rim for two and a half years, Dr. Weiss returned to the United States.

In 2001, he was recruited by the National Health Service Corps to treat the underserved population in south central Pennsylvania. After four years of service to the NHSC and more than ten years of experience in all phases of patient care, Dr. Weiss opened Dental Solutions of Chambersburg.

Dr. Weiss is an Eagle Scout, an avid sportsman and an outdoors man. He is an expert scuba diver and is certified as an instructor, rescue diver, equipment specialist, extended range diver, underwater photographer and videographer, along with being a cavern and shipwreck specialist. To date, he has logged nearly 1,000 dives in more than 20 countries around the world. Traveling and exploring new cultures are two of his favorite diversions.

Elizabeth Weiss – Patient Care Coordinator

Elizabeth was born and raised in Boquete (known as the Valley of Flowers), Panama, Liz has a rich family heritage in Panamanian culture. She brings to the practice the Spanish speaking language (Bilingual). Liz is our practice Senior Clinical Assistant and Patient Care Coordinator. She is certified and state qualified and has extensive training and experience in many aspects of dental procedures. What Liz brings to our practice is the very important element of personalized care, communication, and attention to all of our patients. In her spare time, Liz enjoys cooking her favorite recipes, playing with her dog Nico and spending time with her family.

Kelly Hendershot – Schedule Coordinator

Kelly is the Schedule Coordinator for Dental Solutions of Chambersburg since 2012. Her 25 years experience as a secretary and 5 years as in the dental field as a dental schedule coordinator, has only added to our practice. Kelly gives our patient’s the utmost courtesy and convenience when scheduling their appointments. Kelly enjoys interacting with our patients and answering their questions as to how understand and utilize their dental benefits. Also, by sending the friendly reminders for checkups and cleaning appointments! Kelly keeps everything running as smooth as possible to make your visit to Dental Solutions of Chambersburg an enjoyable, stress free experience.
